From routine maintenance to individual repairs, Shifting Gears provides professional bicycle service at your home or another convenient location.

Service packages have a set labor price. Individual repairs are priced based on the work required.
Replacement parts are additional unless otherwise noted.
A flat House/Location Fee of $30 is charged for every visit. If you sign up for any of the Tune-Up packages (excluding Safety Check) or Assemblies, the House/Location Fee will be waived.
We'll discuss additional work with you before proceeding.

A ride that feels as smooth as butter. In this offsite service^, we use an ultrasonic cleaner to strip away embedded grit on the drivetrain, helping it run smooth and last longer.
^At no additional costs, we will pick up, service offsite and deliver your bike to your location.

….bikes that see a lot of use, commuter bikes, bikes that have gone a few seasons without a good cleaning or need a tune-up to bring it back to baseline.

Not every bike needs a service package. We also handle individual repairs and maintenance.
Parts are additional unless otherwise noted.

Parts & Additional Work
Service prices generally cover labor only unless specifically noted. Replacement parts are additional.
If your bike needs something beyond the original service, we'll discuss the recommended work and any additional cost with you before proceeding.
We can supply the parts you need, or in some cases install customer-provided parts.
Services that may require additional arrangements
Some repairs require specialized equipment, extensive parts availability, or shop-based equipment and may not be practical to complete during a mobile appointment.
If we can't reasonably complete a repair on-site, we'll explain your options.
